At the same time, however, our societies in the region are facing many serious challenges arising from abuse of free online environment and internet technologies, which are spreading through national borders.

To make the best use of these new opportunities and minimize the negative impact of them, we need to make a region-wide cooperation.

When taking the coordinated actions, sharing up-to-date issues and best practices will provide stable foundations for concerted efforts to foster Internet freedom and ensure a safer internet environment for all.

Capacity building through APrIGF will also help the countries in the region which are not well prepared for the abuse of the Internet and strengthen a region-wide safer internet environment.
